**London Museum Docklands tells the story of London and the many transformations the docklands area has undergone.** London Museum Docklands is a museum in Poplar, East London which tells the history of London's River Thames and the growth of Docklands. The museum is part of London Museum jointly funded by the City of London Corporation and the Greater London Authority. The museum building was originally No.1 Warehouse of the West India Docks. Opened in 1802, the West India Docks were London’s first enclosed dock system, built away from the open river on the Isle of Dogs. This gallery looks at how London’s historic docks and warehouses operated at the height of their success. Up to 120 guests can dine in amongst the artefacts in the No.1 Warehouse gallery at London Museum Docklands, where the history of the building is brought to life.
