The Brindley Room is one of Austin Court’s smaller spaces and offers an intimate feel and period charm combined with high-end AV facilities, providing delegates with the ideal setting for small meetings, interviews, or round-table discussions for up to 6 people.

Filled with natural light, the Brindley Room is a stimulating and inspiring space to keep delegates alert throughout your event.

This room can also be used in conjunction with other suites for larger events as a breakout room.

Combining the Boulton and Faraday Room forms one large, light, welcoming space for up to 80 delegates.

The impressive oak beams, large feature windows, and double doors which open onto the landscaped Courtyard, combined with the Wi-Fi and state-of-the-art AV make this event space the perfect blend of technology and character.

Close to the building’s main entrance, as well as our Kingston Lecture Theatre, this event space offers flexibility, ideal for almost any room set-up required.

IET Birmingham: Austin Court 

Complemented by stunning high-beamed ceilings, ample natural light, and views over the landscaped Courtyard, the medium-sized space is equipped for a versatile range of event formats.

Over 12 metres long and 5 metres wide, it can comfortably host up to 40 delegates in a theatre-style setting, while also being often utilised as an intimate exhibition space.

The room offers state-of-the-art AV facilities including a projector screen, facilitating the perfect presentation amongst all of its period charm.

For an intimate yet spacious setting, the Faraday Room is perfectly equipped to host medium to large-sized meetings for up to 30 people.

Boasting a flexible floorplan that offers numerous layouts, the room can also be connected with the neighbouring Boulton Room, for capacities of up to 80 people see Boulton/Faraday Room.

Whether U-shaped, boardroom, classroom, or theatre style, the room’s eye-catching wooden beams and large windows, typical of the Austin Court aesthetic, provide a sense of purpose and occasion for every event.

Nestled in the heart of Birmingham, supported by motorway links, direct public transport and car parking, the Faraday Room is not only flexible but highly accessible for delegates both near and far.

The Boulton Room is sure to impress for a variety of event types with its views and access through double doors to our beautiful, landscaped Courtyard for additional outdoor breakout space.The Boulton Room combines character with convenience, offering ground-floor access and a range of layouts, as well as wooden beamed ceilings and natural daylight.

The Randall Room is one of our most intimate and peaceful meeting rooms for smaller events of up to 10 guests.

With an LCD TV, state-of-the-art AV, and ample space for a buffet catering station, this room is a simple solution for meetings, interviews, roundtables, and training sessions.

A high, vaulted ceiling and original Georgian beams make the room feel spacious, with two additional nearby recess areas that work brilliantly as refreshment zones or presentation areas.

On the longest side of the room, three large windows flood the space with natural light and offer delegates up-close views of the canal.
