Gaucho opens its first restaurant in the North East of England, located in a classic Grade II listed property on Pilgrim Street. The restaurant's interiors reflect industrial tones and materials while keeping a sophisticated elegance. Newcastle, the cradle of railways, shipbuilding, and electric lighting, served as inspiration for the restaurant's design. For the ultimate experience, why not book The Anderson Room, which was inspired by local property merchant Robert Anderson from the 1580’s, has been carefully decorated with bespoke hand-painted tiles from local suppliers and holds a maximum of 12 guests seated.
