1. A small wedding venue with a showstopping view: 620 Loft and Garden

Midtown, NYC

Bridezillas, be warned: you may be outshone on your special day. But not by a bridesmaid, no, we are afraid the scenery could steal your spotlight. This up-close and personal view of St Patrick's Cathedral (seriously, it’s like you could reach out and touch it) is one of the most unique views in the city. Rooftops may be a common highlight of NYC, but you’ve never seen a roof quite like this. 620 Loft is perfect for your intimate wedding, with a capacity of 75 outdoors or 120 indoors. Centrally located in Midtown off Fifth Avenue, getting married here would be a bragging right.

2. Have your intimate wedding at this hidden oasis in NYC: The Foundry

Long Island City, NYC

If you can't decide between an Italian countryside destination wedding or a glamorous city ceremony, don’t let it lead to a marital tiff. The Foundry is a historic venue in Queens with 3,000 sq ft of gardens, courtyards, a terrace, and indoor greenery ideal for every theme. You can fawn over the Manhattan skyline without giving up your spacious reception. As a restored 19th-century building, the Foundry maintains all its original charm. How romantic, right? There are plenty of mixed spaces for weddings of all sizes, but we recommend the Courtyard for its exposed brick and ivy-covered walls. This room in particular can fit around 100 guests for ceremonies or receptions.

3. 19th-century townhouse turned small wedding venue: 632 on Hudson

West Village, NYC

In 1847, a townhouse in the West Village was erected for a sashmaker and his family, which is a sentence we can’t believe we just said. In true New York fashion, 632 on Hudson has since held a lot of identities: a market, a speakeasy, even a sausage factory. It traded hands until it was restored to its original glory and became a venue available for special events. Now, you can customize your wedding to your exact taste by choosing the apartment, the rooftop, the speakeasy, or the entirety of the triplex for your special day. There are few venues as special and historic as 632, and it’s sure to start your marriage off on the perfect foot.

Up to 150 people can be hosted in the main space, The Triplex, and 50 in the speakeasy space. There are also a few rooms to be used as getting-ready suites for the bride and groom.

Housing Works is a well-known charity supporting homeless and displaced persons in NYC with HIV and Aids. Saying “I do” while supporting a cause like this one is sure to make your cup runneth over.
