1. A Brooklyn venue for the history books: The Old Stone House
Park Slope, Brooklyn
If you want a historic Brooklyn venue, it would be difficult to find somewhere that's seen more Brooklyn history than The Old Stone House. Originally built in 1699, this Dutch farmhouse was part of the early rural communities in Brooklyn and was then at the center of the Battle of Brooklyn during the American Revolution. 100 years later, the building was used as the original clubhouse for the Brooklyn Dodgers before being reconstructed to preserve the traditional Dutch architecture in the early 1900s.
The house is now a museum and venue celebrating Brooklyn's rich history. The surrounding gardens and the house itself are available to rent for weddings and events. The gardens can accommodate up to 30 guests, while the house can host 30 to 150 guests.
