UK Editorial Guidelines

Despite what you might think, we don’t work with craniums or with cardboard.

HeadBox started with a very simple mission: to connect people and places and make brilliant things happen, everywhere. Since then we’ve expanded our expertise into 3D mapping, generative venue tours, and leading the charge on sustainable events.

Still, our bread and butter are people and places.

Our writing principles

Local writers We pay local people to write about local places. That way you get insider knowledge about the best spots in town.

Intelligence without the artifice All our editorial writing is produced by real people who do normal stuff like eat Weetabix and refuse to run for the bus. To our knowledge, none of our writers have reached singularity with the Great Intelligence in the cloud.

No paid reviews We don’t take payments for reviews, and we won’t write good things about places we don’t think are worth visiting.

Describe, don’t sell We’re not here to sell you spaces. We want to describe all the venues and things to do, so you can decide for yourself.
