German Gymnasium

Sitting in a prime spot between King’s Cross and St Pancras Stations, the most exciting emerging area of London in terms of new development, the German Gymnasium is a beautiful Grade II listed building which has one of only two surviving laminated timber roofs in London. Home of the first London Olympic games gymnasium, our breathtaking Kings Cross home is now a temple to German cuisine with the buzzing atmosphere of a traditional Grand Café. Now restored to its former glory, it is home to an elegant, contemporary restaurant and events venue boasting a grand café, lounge bar, a vast outdoor terrace and a semi - private dining space. We have made the most of the stunning interior with its 57-foot floor-to-ceiling height. Our all day menu includes London’s finest schnitzels, sausages, seasonal delicacies and tortes.
