1. The little Victoria pub with a big heart: Cask & Glass
Victoria, London
Rumoured to be the smallest pub in central London, the Cask & Glass is just a tiny little pub for drinks and, on the miniature food menu, cheese toasties. Get far from the commuter crowd, but try to beat the evening rush – like we said, there simply isn't actually much room to go around! Closed on Sundays.
2. The classic Victoria pub: Duke of Wellington
Victoria, London
A ten-minute walk from Victoria Station, this straightforward pub is another fine spot for a pint and a pie. It was once a 'reading room', a place where locals could gather and kick back with the daily papers or a paperback. Reading is still welcome, but now there's alcohol as well, plus a decent-sized telly often displaying the sporting highlight of the day.
3. The Victoria pub that's multi-storey: The Phoenix
Victoria, London
This pretty two-floor pub is full of colourful furniture, and also offers a roof terrace to enjoy on warmer days. Open seven days a week and just a seven-minute walk from Victoria Station, a recent refurbishment has given the Phoenix pub a new lease of life. If you're after something to eat, the food menu offers traditional British fare.
4. The Victoria pub for the hungry: The Queens Arms
Victoria, London
This classic London corner pub is easy on the eye, with lots of lovely exposed wood, but the real hero here is the cooking, which elevates a fairly typical pub menu through craft and carefully-chosen ingredients. Worry not: fish'n'chips, burgers and a Sunday roast are all available, but a summery risotto, pan-fried sea bass and truffle parmesan fries are also up for grabs. Just a six minute walk from Victoria Station, the Queens Arms also has three areas to hire, for 20, 30 and 60 guests respectively.

How to hire a pub near Victoria Station
We know that finding a venue the old-fashioned way (where you trawl the internet, contact 10 venues or set your heart on one, only to find that they're out of your price range and not even available on your dates) is a pain, and there are a few pitfalls between you and booking your perfect pub. Getting the venue-finding process down to a professional art is what we’ve made our mission ever since we took on the events industry. We often get asked the same questions, so here's what we recommend to quickly and easily hire a space near Victoria Station.
For pubs near Victoria Station, you're spoilt for choice. Here are a few extra special ones that we vouch for:
The Queens Arms – For classic pub grub or something a little different (risotto anyone?) head to this pub. It's only a 6-minute walk from Victoria Station.
The Cask & Glass – A cosy pub to stop by for heart-warming meals and great pints.
There really is no one answer to this question: so many variables come into play when understanding the cost of exclusive hire of a pub or a private space in a pub. How many guests are you planning for? Is the venue for the day, an afternoon, or the night? The good news is that you can find a venue for pretty much any budget (okay, almost any budget). Instead of letting the venue dictate the price, our advice is to be proactive and set a budget that you feel comfortable with – this way the right venues can reach out to you through HeadBox.
There are lots of ways to book a Victoria Station pub. You can do the old-fashioned thing and pick up the phone, or email the venue directly. Unfortunately, lots of venues are busy and may not get back to you in time. That's where we come in. Give us your enquiry and we'll reach out to the best pubs near Victoria Station and let you enjoy your free time. Easy.
