3. A bar in Shoreditch for jazz, blues and soul: Blues Kitchen

Research jazz bars in Shoreditch The first step is to research jazz bars in Shoreditch. There are several popular jazz bars in the area, including Ninety One Living Room, Troy Bar, and The Blues Kitchen. Each jazz bar has its own unique style, so it's important to consider which one will suit your needs.

Consider the size of the jazz bar When looking to hire a jazz bar, consider the size of the venue. Jazz bars can range from intimate spaces that hold 50 people to larger venues that can accommodate up to 200 guests. Think about the size of your party and the atmosphere you want to create when selecting a jazz bar.

Check availability Once you've selected a jazz bar, check their availability for your desired date and time. Jazz bars can get booked up quickly, so it's best to book well in advance to ensure availability.

Check the jazz bar's equipment and facilities Check with the jazz bar to see what equipment and facilities they provide. This may include a sound system, microphones, and lighting. If you need any additional equipment, such as a projector or screen, make sure to check if they can accommodate your needs.

Inquire about catering and drinks Many jazz bars offer catering and drinks packages, so inquire about these options. You may be able to customise a menu to suit your event or opt for a pre-set package. Some jazz bars may also have a minimum spend requirement for food and drinks.

Confirm booking and payment Once you've confirmed the details with the jazz bar, make sure to finalise the booking and payment. Jazz bars may require a deposit or full payment upfront, so be sure to clarify their payment policy before finalising your booking.
