1. The West End speakeasy that brings the old-school Soho glamour: Jack Solomons Club

London

In the heart of London’s vibrant West End is Jack Solomons Club. Dimly lit and with an air of mystery about it, this speakeasy brings back the old-school Soho glamour.


The venue, which is available for private hire, can host as many as 250 people. But if a smaller gathering is what you have in mind, The Red Room at Jack Solomons is the way to go.


Jack Solomons has played host to everything from product launches to album launches and is definitely worth considering for your company’s next corporate event.



2. A secret Mayfair venue for private corporate events: 33 Dover Street, Park Chinois

London

Park Chinois in Mayfair is one of the city’s best-known Chinese restaurants and it’s the same team that brings you 33 Dover Street, a secret space hidden away behind the glamorous restaurant.


Though the new venue is currently closed ahead of a 2023 relaunch, it's available for private hire with options for dry hire for external catering or with catering straight from the famed Park Chinois kitchens but for a limited time.


With its marble-topped bar, indoor courtyard, cosy booths and vintage-themed artwork, 33 Dover Street is a great choice for a glamour corporate event. The venue can accommodate up to 100 people and is just a short walk from the Green Park tube station.



3. A historic London gym for your next work event: German Gymnasium

London

A gymnasium isn't what you usually have in mind when planning a corporate event but the German Gymnasium is no ordinary gymnasium. Built in 1865 with funding from London’s German community, it was England’s first purpose-built gymnasium and even hosted London’s first-ever indoor Olympic Games, way back in 1866.


Today, the venue (which still stays true to its German roots) is home to a grand cafe, a restaurant, two bars and an outdoor terrace. High ceilings, plush interiors and pretty flower arrangements are what you'll find if you stop by.


Located in the heart of King’s Cross and with the capacity to host 500 people, the German Gymnasium is a great option for large corporate events.



4. London’s hidden corporate event venue: The "Secret" Garden, Bedford Hotel

A few minutes walk from the Russel Square station stands the Bedford Hotel and hidden inside is The “Secret” Garden. This hidden gem is by no means a small venue though, the spacious garden can host as many as 200 guests and is a breath of fresh air compared to regular indoor venues.


The secluded garden is located at the rear of the hotel and has a variety of comfortable seating options which are ideal for breakout spaces.

The Balls Brothers at Austin Friars offers a variety of unique spaces to choose from for your next corporate event.


There’s the Ground Floor with the open kitchen where you can grab a business lunch, dinner or after-work drinks. The smaller, more intimate Green Room is ideal for private meetings, as is The Mezzane on the first floor with a capacity to host up to 85 people. Located just a stone’s throw away from the iconic Shard in London Bridge, this laidback, urban rooftop bar is a great venue to enjoy some after-work drinks and yummy Spanish food while taking in the stunning views of the city skyline.
