1. The West End speakeasy that brings the old-school Soho glamour: Jack Solomons Club
In the heart of London’s vibrant West End is Jack Solomons Club. Dimly lit and with an air of mystery about it, this speakeasy brings back the old-school Soho glamour.
The venue, which is available for private hire, can host as many as 250 people. But if a smaller gathering is what you have in mind, The Red Room at Jack Solomons is the way to go.
Jack Solomons has played host to everything from product launches to album launches and is definitely worth considering for your company’s next corporate event.
2. A secret Mayfair venue for private corporate events: 33 Dover Street, Park Chinois
Park Chinois in Mayfair is one of the city’s best-known Chinese restaurants and it’s the same team that brings you 33 Dover Street, a secret space hidden away behind the glamorous restaurant.
Though the new venue is currently closed ahead of a 2023 relaunch, it's available for private hire with options for dry hire for external catering or with catering straight from the famed Park Chinois kitchens but for a limited time.
With its marble-topped bar, indoor courtyard, cosy booths and vintage-themed artwork, 33 Dover Street is a great choice for a glamour corporate event. The venue can accommodate up to 100 people and is just a short walk from the Green Park tube station.
3. A historic London gym for your next corporate event: German Gymnasium
A gymnasium isn't what you usually have in mind when planning a corporate event but the German Gymnasium is no ordinary gymnasium. Built in 1865 with funding from London’s German community, it was England’s first purpose-built gymnasium and even hosted London’s first-ever indoor Olympic Games, way back in 1866.
Today, the venue (which still stays true to its German roots) is home to a grand cafe, a restaurant, two bars and an outdoor terrace. High ceilings, plush interiors and pretty flower arrangements are what you'll find if you stop by.
Located in the heart of King’s Cross and with the capacity to host 500 people, the German Gymnasium is a great option for large corporate events.
4. London’s hidden corporate event venue: The "Secret" Garden, Bedford Hotel
A few minutes' walk from the Russell Square station stands the Bedford Hotel and hidden inside is The “Secret” Garden. This hidden gem is by no means a small venue as the spacious garden can host as many as 200 guests and is a breath of fresh air compared to regular indoor venues.
The secluded garden is located at the rear of the hotel and has a variety of comfortable seating options which are ideal for breakout sessions.
If you’re on the lookout for a venue for a corporate summer party, this not-so-secret venue is available for hire.
5. A relaxed space for casual corporate events: Shaman, St Paul's Riverside
Plenty of plants, pastel themes, comfortable sofas and overall, a very relaxed atmosphere. That’s Shaman at St Paul’s Riverside in a nutshell.
The Broken Wharf venue has multiple spaces and can accommodate up to 70 people. Different parts can be hired separately, whether it’s a small lounge booth and semi-private meeting rooms for smaller groups or the co-working space along with the bar area for bigger events.
You and your team can sip on some of Shaman's speciality coffee as you take in the views of the Thames and get your work done.
6. London’s four-in-one venue for corporate events: Balls Brothers Austin Friars
The Balls Brothers at Austin Friars offers a variety of unique spaces to choose from for your next corporate event.
There’s the Ground Floor with the open kitchen where you can grab a business lunch, dinner or after-work drinks. The smaller, more intimate Green Room is ideal for private meetings, as is The Mezzane on the first floor with a capacity to host up to 85 people. Finally, if you need to give a presentation during your event, head downstairs, The Cellar Bar is the place for you. And if you can’t decide between the spaces, you can always just hire the entire venue which can accommodate about 350 guests.
The interiors are large and spacious with exposed brick walls and ventilation ducts that create an industrial charm, which is complemented by the venue’s comfy brown leather sofas.
7. An urban rooftop bar for informal corporate events: London Bridge Rooftop
Located just a stone’s throw away from the iconic Shard in London Bridge, this laidback, urban rooftop bar is a great venue to enjoy some after-work drinks and yummy Spanish food while taking in the stunning views of the city skyline.
The fully-heated venue usually has a DJ to set the mood and it’s hard to go wrong with their fantastic cocktails and delicious burgers.
Available for private hire and with a capacity to host up to 50 people, this rooftop bar is right next to London Bridge tube station, so getting there will be as relaxed as the evening that awaits.
8. A quirky London corporate event venue: Patch St. Paul's
Planning a corporate event can often be a bit of a headache but not at this cocktail bar. Patch St Pauls offers personal event managers who will take all the stress out of organising the perfect get-together. What's more, the venue is fully staffed and includes AV & PA equipment as well.
The venue’s aesthetic is quirky and contemporary, and you can choose from multiple different themed semi-private areas. The English Mule and Butterscotch Glow are must-tries on the cocktail menu and there are snacks from across the world to choose from to pair with your drink.
Within walking distance from Blackfriars, Farringdon, Chancery Lane and Holborn, you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to deciding how to get there.
9. The London co-working space with a difference: Work+Play
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, which is why this venue makes it their mission to combine the two. One of the first coworking spaces that prioritises work and play equally, this unique venue could very well get the best out of your team and is worth considering if you’re looking to host a corporate event with a difference.
W+P has a range of adaptable, spaces – ideal for everything from team meetings and workshops to presentations, networking and conferences.
Available for private hire and with a capacity to host 75 people, this venue is a short walk from the Arsenal tube station.
10. The venue that will brighten up your corporate event: Timber Yard, Barrio East
Add a bit (okay, a lot) of colour to your next corporate event by holding it at the Timber Yard in Bario.
Staying true to its name, the venue’s interiors primarily use wood but also have a vibrant mix of bright colourful furniture, hanging plants and whitewashed brick walls.
With a standing capacity of 65, a projector and a screen for your AV needs, this venue is great for casual work meetings and is minutes from Shoreditch High Street station.

How to hire a corporate venue in London
We know that finding a venue the old-fashioned way (where you trawl the internet, contact 10 venues or set your heart on one, only to find that they're out of your price range and not even available on your dates) is a pain, and there are a few pitfalls between you and booking your perfect corporate event venue. Getting the venue finding process down to a professional art is what we’ve made our mission ever since we took on the events industry. We often get asked the same questions, so here's what we recommend to quickly and easily hire a space in London.
For corporate event venues in London, you're spoilt for choice. Here's an extra special one that we vouch for:
Landmark - 99 Bishopsgate – With terrace views, excellent transport links and modern interiors, corporate events just got a little more interesting.
There really is no one answer to this question: so many variables come into play when understanding the cost of hiring a venue for a corporate event. Corporate venues will be well-appointed so will include facilities, but some things cost extra. It all depends on how many guests are you planning for. Is the venue for the day, an afternoon or an evening? Are you looking for catering? What about decorations? The good news is that you can find a corporate venue for pretty much any budget (okay, almost any budget). Instead of letting the venue dictate the price, our advice is to be proactive and set a budget that you feel comfortable with – this way the right venues can reach out to you through HeadBox.
There are lots of ways to book a London corporate event venue. You can do the old-fashioned thing and pick up the phone, or email the venue directly. Unfortunately, lots of venues are busy and may not get back to you in time. That's where we come in. Give us your enquiry and we'll reach out to the best corporate event venues in London and let you enjoy your free time. Easy.
